Kota, a hybrid, arrived to the sanctuary in September 2016 with Trouble and Breeze after their owner suddenly passed away.

Kota has his own pen (we like to call it his bachelor pad) and is very happy to have all the attention to himself when people come to visit!  He is a playful, silly boy who has a sweet spot for children.  He’s a big fan of his toys, butt scratches, and goofing around.

As you can tell by the picture on the left, Kota LOVES snow.  It’s hard to be upset about back to back blizzards when you see how happy it makes him!

Kota is often the first pack member you’ll see when you first arrive at the sanctuary.  His pen is in the center of all the action, which gives him a great spot to keep an eye on what everyone is doing throughout the day.
